Anjala Bandara played college Cricket as a left-passed beginning batsman cum an excellent wicketkeeper for his alma mater St.Anthony's University Kandy 1st XI group in the inter-schools 'A' department Cricket event. Then he also had the specific document of being selected for the beneath 19 Sri Lankan countrywide squad for the approaching England domestic collection and played the under-19 world cup in 2022.
